For more info about
our bulk prices,
please read on.
You can keep costs down by buying in bulk. Bulk sales help us minimize overhead, logistics and waste, thus allowing us to give you the highest quality meat at the best value. "Going in" with friends or neighbors can make it especially easy to buy in bulk.
You will receive mainly an array of steaks, roasts, and ground beef, but soup bones, organ meats and ribs also come with the order. Steaks are typically cut at a one-inch thickness. Roasts are usually cut to around three or four pounds. Please tell us if you do or do not wish to receive organ meats.
Many parts of the animal can be cut into various kinds of steaks or roasts, and some of the same cuts have different names, depending on the butcher or the customary name in a certain region. See our "Guide to Slaughter, Cuts and Cooking," also under the heading "Grass-Fed Beef," to find out details.
Eighth, Quarter, Half Discount:
(Priced by Cut & Packaged Weight)
Eighth: 15% off list price
Quarter: 20% off list price
Half: 25% off list price
These orders represent a sampling of all cuts proportional to what is available from a whole animal. If you buy a quarter, you will receive a "half of a half," not the front or rear quarter. An eighth represents a similar division of a half. A half amounts to approximately 250 pounds of cut and packaged meat.
